Hey, I'm Duncan. I'm a writer and photographer based in Los Angeles. My work follows a simple compulsion: to put myself somewhere unfamiliar and explore what connects us in the places that seem most uncommon. I've cooked off the books in a Croatian kitchen, spent three months lost in a Finnish forest, and chased the feeling of a good sauna from Joutsa to Brighton Beach. I'm currently working on a piece that begins in a modest tea shop in the San Gabriel Valley and ends on a mountain in southwest China.
